PETER'S LATEST RELEASE
Peter Kearney - vocals, guitar, recorder
Female vocals: Louise Cassidy, Clare Michael & Catherine Mahony

I find this sequence of Easter Carols very powerful. I described it to a friend as   "stations of the Cross in music". The lyrics of the carols make me think outside the square. They pose questions and concepts for a Lenten journey.
(Bronwyn Harris, Melbourne)

ALBUM DESCRIPTION
(Track List below)
Easter Carols is a deeply reflective and simple album featuring mainly Peter's voice and guitar
along with an excellent trio of female vocalists. It includes seven traditional Easter Carols, four powerful songs by Sydney Carter (the man who wrote Lord of the Dance), Peter's song 'Ashes to Easter and the classic 'O Jesus Crucified'.

This album is not specifically for children but will provide useful prayer-reflection material during Lent and Easter. There is no music book but those purchasing the CD will be provided with online access to the lyrics.

GUITAR:
The guitar used on the recording has an especially rich and beautiful sound. It was hand-made for Peter in 2007 by Scottish luthier, William Kelday. See photos and story.
Available as CD/ Purchasers have online access to lyrics
