On his first Camino, Peter Kearney walked 700+ kilometres through northern-Spain along the Camino de Santiago, an ancient pilgrimage route. He walked the path known as the Camino Frances - starting from St. Jean Pied-de-Port just over the French border, to Santiago-de-Compostela in north-west Spain, burial place of St. James the Apostle. The path goes over mountain passes, through farmyards, fields and vineyards, rests by night in medieval villages. The DVD weaves music with Peter's narration and photographs. Beautiful landscapes. Photos and stories of pilgrims met along the way. Information on Camino history, customs and practicalities such as the 'albergues', the simple hostels in which pilgrims stay. Please note that the DVD contains photos, not video footage. Pan and zoom transitions create a dynamic effect. The presentation is for a general audience rather than specifically religious.

OTHER COMMENTS ON 'WALKING THE CAMINO': "We enjoyed 'Walking the Camino' tremendously. We have heard so much of the pilgrimage to Compostela and watching the DVD gave us a feeling of the experience of the walk" (Wendy).

"Music, image, reflection, history, connection - so much pulled together for us to enjoy". (Keith)
